Light waves as the most modern industrial standard – data transmission with many advantages. Optical cables operate under the most challenging conditions, unlike copper cables. The optical fibers do not interfere with electronics. Additionally, the low attenuation of optical cables allows for long distances to be covered.

Maximum transmission range and speed. With fiber optic cables, you achieve not only multiple gigabit speeds compared to copper cables but also transmission distances of 100 km or more.

Highest data security. A signal transmitted via light wave cannot be received remotely but only physically through the fiber optic cable itself. This feature makes it the most attractive transmission medium for authorities, banks, and other institutions with sensitive data.

Highest protection against electromagnetic influences. Fiber optic cables contain no metal, making them ideal for installation in areas with electromagnetic interference (EMI). This includes locations near power lines, areas with a high risk of lightning strikes, or near railway tracks.

LC connector. The Lampert Connector (LC) is the most widely used connector type in the fiber optic field. It is primarily used for its compact design, as it resembles the RJ15 components used in copper technology. The LC connector has a ferrule diameter of 1.25 mm and impresses with an insertion loss of only 0.1 dB and a return loss of 55 dB.

Reliable data transmission - Multimode OM3. To enable fiber optics for Gigabit Ethernet, 10-Gigabit Ethernet, and 100-Gigabit Ethernet, the quality of fiber optics is classified similarly to the class specifications of copper cables. An OM3 cable features a laser-optimized 50µ fiber with an effective modal bandwidth of 2000 MHz/km. The data transmission is designed for 10 GBit/s.
