Extendable green screen (chroma key panel)

At Rollei, we bring Hollywood to your home with our green screen measuring 145 x 190 cm and a pack size of 157 x 21 x 11.5 cm. The total setup screen dimensions are 198 x 157 x 40 cm.

Green screens are primarily used to cut people out of the background in the digital post-production of videos and insert them against a new background. This technique is commonly seen in Hollywood films, where an actor may appear to ride a dragon while actually sitting on a wooden frame. Green screens are also frequently used for newsreaders.

From a technical perspective, it is important to note that human skin does not contain a green component; rather, skin color is located on the opposite side of the color scale. This allows for effective cutting out of human skin from a green background.

Additionally, the green screen is easy to illuminate due to its bright neon color. It is ideal for backgrounds that need to be bright later, minimizing the color difference and reducing the need for extensive post-processing.

Our Chroma Key Panel is conveniently stored in a long, compact metal body until needed. It can be easily pulled out of its housing and set up. A rod attached to the back of the green screen allows it to stand freely without the need for additional support.

Once you have completed your production, simply retract the screen back into its box.
