It is halogen free and exceeds requirements for fire safety, making it suitable for use in public buildings, public transport, underground passenger transport systems, submarines, hospitals, and airports. The tubing has very low flammability, with a flame temperature index of over 350 °C, and emits extremely low smoke, meeting standard LUL with no toxic smoke emission.
