Saft lithium batteries (Li-SOCl2) are particularly suitable for long-term applications (5 to 20+ years) with low currents and pulse operation. Their high reliability is also supported by a wide temperature range of -60°C to 85°C. Additionally, they feature an extremely low self-discharge rate of less than 1% after one year of storage. This makes them ideal for use in medical and measuring devices, trackers, IoT applications (Internet of Things), etc.
