Product details
Wherever you capture the magical moment: your documentation thrives on a perfect interplay of image and sound - even under the toughest conditions. Whether it's outdoor shots in the city or filming in buildings with poor acoustic properties, Sennheiser has the solution for top-notch film sound. The new MKE 600 camera microphone has been specifically designed for video journalists who demand high directionality, excellent sound quality, and easy handling. Especially in rapidly changing locations and camera settings, this new shotgun microphone is your reliable companion for demanding shoots. The great strength of the compact MKE 600 is its full sound with excellent bass response, ensuring that speech is recorded clearly and pleasantly. The shotgun microphone captures sound closely while effectively filtering out side noise. You can reduce handling and wind noise with a switchable low-cut filter, delivering perfect sound - without the noise. No phantom power is required. Since not all video cameras provide phantom power for a microphone, you can also power the MKE 600 with a standard AA battery. The battery power can be easily switched on and off, preventing premature battery drain when the camera is not in use. An LED on the battery switch warns of low voltage and provides a reserve of about eight hours - enough time to successfully complete your ongoing shoot.
