The Sennheiser MTW 4 impress with their fantastic sound and best-in-class customisability. There are problems with software functions such as active noise cancellation, which is why they cannot keep up with the competition overall. In this generation, Sennheiser has also added some interesting functions to the MTW, but these do not work on the iPhone due to a lack of support from Apple...

- Powerful sound
- comprehensive app
- Good ANC
- Treble a little peaked
- Slow loading time
The Sennheiser Momentum TW 4 sit comfortably in the ears, have a long battery life and are easy to use. The electronic noise cancellation works effectively and can be adjusted in strength. The sound is rather warm with clean highs and very deep, somewhat soft bass.

- First-class sound
- Customisable control and sound
- Dust and water protected
- New technology requires a new smartphone
- Inconspicuous design
The two biggest strengths of the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 are their sound and their customisability. The battery life is slightly longer than its predecessors and thanks to Bluetooth 5.4 they have learnt a few new software tricks, although these are not yet widely used. The design has practically not changed at all compared to the MTW 3, apart from the colour and the IP protection class -...
- Very good sound quality
- Good noise damping
- Charges battery quite slowly
Sennheiser launched the TW4 on the market in March with a reference to an update for LE Audio. After consultation, this may take another two months, after which Auracast transmissions will be selectable in the Sennheiser app - also via iPhone. Already top: the natural sound.
"The task of improving a good product is probably more difficult than developing a new one. Sennheiser faced this dilemma with the Momentum True Wireless 4( TW4), as its predecessor was already in the top league. So the engineers primarily changed the details: The TW4s have been given new antennas, which should ensure more stable connections, as well as new Qualcomm chips for better Bluetooth connections...
- Powerful and clean sound
- comprehensive app
- Good noise damping
- Treble a little peaked
- Light pressure when worn
- somewhat long loading time
With the Accentum Plus Wireless, Sennheiser currently offers the best headphones for under 200 euros. The TW 4, on the other hand, is too expensive for its performance; the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, which cost half as much, offer more. Unique to both Sennheisers are the practical "sound zones" and the personalised sound adjustment.
