The dual design (flat mount) 10G fiber optic network card features 2 ports with open SFP+ for PCIe. The StarTech PEX20000SFPI 10G fiber optic network card provides high-bandwidth connectivity by adding two open SFP+ slots to your server or high-performance workstation. This 2-port network card allows you to connect your server or workstation to a 10Gb fiber network using SFP+ modules of your choice. It is equipped with the Intel 82599 chipset and Intel® virtualization technology, offering connectivity of up to 20 Gbps (full duplex) bandwidth per port.
Additional features include support for PXE network boot, compliance with IEEE 802.3ae (10GBASE-LR/SR only) and IEEE 802.3aq (10GBASE-LRM), compatibility with PCI Express Rev 2.0 specification in PCIe x8 (or higher) slots, support for IEEE 802.1Q VLAN tagging, 802.3ad link aggregation, and jumbo frame support up to 15K.
