The SK-BD420 from StudioKing is a silver-colored beauty dish (42 cm) that comes with a honeycomb grid, a diffusion cloth, and a reflector. As the name suggests, you can photograph people in the most beautiful way with a beauty dish. It provides a wide spread and strong contrast, allowing details of a person (such as skin tones or muscles) to stand out optimally. How does it work?

You attach the reflector to the three "rods" on the inside of the beauty dish. This reflects and distributes the light. You can use the honeycomb grid to better direct the light. The diffusion cloth can be used to soften the light. Various adapter rings are available optionally (please note that they are not included in the standard package of this product).

There are adapter rings available for all these brands, which you can find in the optional accessories. In addition to the 152 mm adapter rings, you can also connect this beauty dish to adapters with a diameter of 144 mm. This allows you to save a lot of money, as you no longer need to purchase the original accessories.
