The Sonnenschein Dryfit A512/16G5 lead battery is a reliable energy storage solution that can be used in various applications including telecommunications, alarm systems, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), security technology, medical and railway technology, as well as in all other areas of emergency power supply.

The product superiority of the Sonnenschein A500 batteries is based on the globally proven and successful Dryfit technology. They offer excellent energy storage characteristics, high reliability, and are maintenance-free since no water needs to be refilled. The batteries have a lifespan of 7 years at an ambient temperature of 20°C.

The grid plates are made of a lead-calcium alloy and are extremely low in gas emissions due to internal gas recombination. Additionally, they have a very low self-discharge rate, which allows for long shelf life. The charging times are short, and the batteries are deep discharge safe according to DIN 43 539 T5.

There are no transport restrictions for operational blocks, whether by rail, road, water, or air (according to IATA, DGR clause A67). The batteries are fully recyclable.
