The Telefunken M80-SH is the "Short Version" of the M80 and is particularly suitable for use as a snare or vocal microphone in situations where a compact microphone with an angled XLR connector is advantageous. It offers a wide frequency response (50 Hz-18 kHz) and is designed for high sound pressure levels, making it an excellent alternative for drummers compared to the usual mid-heavy microphones. The sound quality speaks for itself and impresses with a similar tonal character to that of a condenser microphone. The high-quality and robust construction, combined with the sound quality, make the M80-SH suitable for both live performances and studio use. The package includes an angled 5 m XLR cable, as well as two drum mounts (M784 and M785).
