The TL-SM311 series fiber optic modules have been introduced to extend the transmission distance of your managed/websmart switches. They can increase the distance by several kilometers, even up to several dozen kilometers, effectively covering the distance requirements of the LAN. Users can choose which devices will utilize the fiber modules as needed to reduce costs.

With the TL-SM311LS MiniGBIC module from TP-LINK, you can enhance your TP-Link switch with a high-performance port. The MiniGBIC connection allows you to link two switches and bridge distances of up to 10 km without any loss of quality.
