Product details
The access point is ideal for environments with very high density, such as a large auditorium or concert hall with numerous clients in a relatively small space. It supports up to 1500 users as a theoretical maximum (up to 750 users is recommended). The built-in, dedicated security and monitoring radios of the UniFi XG AP provide insights into site performance, channel planning, and local interference, allowing you as an integrator to properly assess performance and quickly respond to changing interferences and security threats. The primary port of the UniFi XG is designed as a 10G Ethernet backhaul, transmitting both data and PoE, while the secondary Gigabit Ethernet port is used for bridging and also supports PoE input. The access point can be powered via an 802.3bt PoE compliant switch. The UniFi Controller software allows for convenient configuration and easy monitoring using a graphical user interface. A single instance of the UniFi Controller in the cloud can manage multiple sites. As part of the Wave 2 evolution of the 802.11ac standard, Multi-User MIMO technology has been introduced. By utilizing Multi-User MIMO, this device can stream data to multiple devices simultaneously.
