The Ultimaker PLA filament is made from biodegradable raw materials. Additionally, the material, specifically developed for Ultimaker devices, can be printed easily and reliably. Ultimaker released a new version of Cura simultaneously with the launch of the filament, which provides custom material profiles for various requirements. The Ultimaker PLA can also be processed effortlessly by other FDM printers. Furthermore, the PLA filament works perfectly with Ultimaker PVA material. PVA is a water-soluble support material that can be completely removed after printing in a water bath. This combination allows you to design and print your 3D model without geometric limitations.
