Product details

Wired laptop adapter for the installation of IP cameras. This installation tool allows for the local display of IP camera images on a smartphone, tablet, or laptop near the camera. It enables quick and precise adjustments of lens focus and angle. The adapter uses Power over Ethernet from the network, eliminating the need for a local power supply. This increases installation speed and efficiency, significantly reducing time on site. It is a cost-effective, reusable device that can be installed in seconds and just as quickly removed. PINPOINT (VAD-PP) is an extremely useful tool for the installation of IP cameras. It is temporarily connected in line with the camera and forwards POE to the camera while redirecting Ethernet to the laptop connection for camera configuration and adjustment. After installation, PINPOINT can be removed in seconds. The IP camera installation adapter is placed between the POE network and the IP camera, redirecting the network connection of the IP camera to the local PINPOINT RJ45 port for the laptop connection.
