With the SDXC memory card (SD eXtended Capacity), large volumes of data can be processed at high transfer speeds. Users gain storage space and high speed for their camcorders and digital cameras while on the go. SDXC cards can handle significantly larger amounts of data due to two technical advancements. The exFAT file system allows for the processing of large data volumes with the SDXC card.

Verbatim SDXC memory cards can only be used with SDXC host products that feature the latest SDXC technology. Users of PCs or laptops must download an SDXC-compatible driver for the SD slot from the Microsoft Download Center.
