Ideal for landscape photography, the ND Fader from Walimex provides an even darkening of the image. It reduces the amount of light and thereby extends the shutter speed by +2 to +8 f-stops. The Fader combines several gray filters and, since the adjustment is stepless, it allows for finer adjustments with just one filter. It enables longer exposure times, allowing you to create a smudge or flow effect in long exposures, making flowing water appear soft or like mist.
