Ideal for landscape photography, the ND Fader from Walimex provides an even darkening of the image. It reduces the amount of light and thereby extends the shutter speed by +2 to +8 f-stops. The Fader combines several gray filters, and since the adjustment is stepless, it allows for an even finer adjustment with only one filter. It allows for longer exposure times, enabling you to create a smudge or flow effect in long exposures. For example, it makes flowing water look very soft or like flowing mist.
