Bi Color area light with energy-saving light-emitting diodes for use in photography and videography. With a very high illuminance (6,000 lumen, 65 watt power), the adjustable luminous intensity and colour temperature, a high colour rendering index (90-93Ra) as well as its robust metal housing, the Walimex pro LED Sirius 160 Bi Color is suitable for use on location or in the studio, whether in the photo or video sector.

This area light has 160 LEDs, which provide an authentic illumination in the daylight range with max. 5,600 Kelvin. The colour temperature of this Bi Color version is continuously adjustable from approx. 3,200K to 5,600K (±200 K) by means of a rotary knob. The luminous intensity is also infinitely variable. The modern 160 high-power LEDs installed in this luminaire (not comparable with conventional LED luminaires, which have a total output of approx. 10 watts with 160 LEDs) generate a very powerful luminous flux of approx. 6,000 lumens at a maximum output of 65 watts. The high colour rendering index CRI of 90-93 Ra ensures high colour fidelity. The extremely wide beam angle of 120 degrees leads to a uniform and homogeneous illumination, which is additionally controllable by two built-in flaps.

In order to control the light direction exactly and to react flexibly to different lighting moods, robust metal doors are attached to the luminaire, which effectively influence the radiation behaviour. The fixed diffuser disc ensures uniform, soft and authentic light. The aluminium housing is equipped with cooling fins and is passively cooled. Thus, the high power of approx. 65 watts is safely dissipated without causing the disturbing noise of active cooling.

The mounting is done via a conventional standardized spigot connection, so the light can be mounted on any appropriate photo and video lamp tripod.
