Particular emphasis was placed on fault tolerance during the development of this hard drive. It has a MTBF of 2,000,000 hours and a capacity of 600,000 load/unload cycles. It operates efficiently in a temperature range of 5°C to 60°C and is designed to meet the stringent demands of data centers while minimizing noise emissions to 34 dBA. The WD Ultrastar DC HA340 offers an internal data rate of 267 MBps, combined with Dynamic Fly Height Technology, which enhances reliability and performance under various operating conditions.
