Installation tip: For the Wella HS40, loosen the hex screw on the cutting head and carefully remove the black on/off switch. Under the sliding switch, two black retaining tabs will appear on the left and right sides of the housing. Carefully press these two retaining tabs into the housing, and then the internal components should be able to slide out. On the inner back side, you will see the battery with the connector contacts. Please gently push the old battery out of the circuit board (you may use a small screwdriver as a lifting aid). Remember the positive and negative terminals beforehand!.
