This is an update after 6 months of use,
I have downgrade my evaluation of the device.
The sound suddenly stops working completely on some calls (both my voice and the caller's) and I have to reboot the device completely to make it work again.
This is not a replaceable part (to my understanding) so the whole pitch of repairing vs replacing falls short in this case.
