3. AKG Pro C519 M
The AKG C519 M is a condenser microphone designed for capturing wind instruments. It can be easily attached to the instrument using the clamp mount. With its linear frequency response, your instrument sounds completely natural. The AKG C519 M features a cardioid polar pattern, making it highly resistant to feedback and well shielded from ambient noise. The 12.5 cm long gooseneck allows for precise microphone positioning. The microphone capsule of the AKG C519 M is elastically suspended, minimizing unwanted noise caused by movement. The switchable bass roll-off helps prevent an overemphasis on low frequencies. The AKG C519 M requires a power supply (phantom power) of 9 to 52 volts. It can be connected to the microphone input of a mixer or a phantom power supply via a cable with an XLR connector. The AKG C411 is a condenser microphone (contact pickup) designed for capturing the sound of acoustic string instruments. It is directly attached to the instrument and picks up sound from the surface of the resonating body.
The frequency response of the AKG C411 is specifically tailored for acoustic string instruments. The sound of the instrument is reproduced authentically and very naturally. Since acoustic instruments vibrate differently at various points, the tonal quality can be varied depending on the sound pickup location. The necessary adhesive rubber for attaching the pickup to the instrument is included. It is reusable and safe for wood, plastic, and metal surfaces.
