To send all signals to the PA speakers or to the monitors in the studio, 2 XLR outputs are available for the left and right channels.
There is a switch directly below the section to switch between these applications. Of course, a headphone output should not be missing and is therefore located at the bottom right of the Main Mix control, which influences the overall volume of your mix.
The channel strips

The MusiQ EQ is available for further processing of the signal, with carefully calibrated potentiometers for precise intervention. Changes can therefore be made very easily, while the quality of every conceivable signal can be enhanced. Of course, instruments in each channel can be distributed in the panorama to create a wider stereo image. Finally, the potentiometers for the volume of the respective channel and the buttons for feeding the headphones are located at the bottom.
Recording? No problem:
The ZEDi-8 offers a 2 in/2 out USB interface in studio quality so that no song idea is forgotten or you want to record your song professionally. Playback and recording are possible on a Mac or PC, so that every user is served. The Cubase LE music production software plus app is included so that you can get started straight away! This offers extensive tools and editing options that put every mix in an even better light. With the app, which is compatible with iPads, you can also sit comfortably on the couch and start mixing straight away! And thanks to the interface, recording at 96kHz/24bit is possible, leaving nothing to be desired.
When the going gets tough!
Thanks to the legendary Allen&Heath standard, the ZED mixer series is robust enough for any occasion in terms of the components used. All channel strips are installed on their own circuit boards to prevent everything from being damaged in the worst-case scenario. Each individual pot has a steel thread to prevent it from breaking off or being pressed in.
