After long use: how does the edge of the table look? Are there visible marks where the clamp is attached?

We have also only had the product for 10 days. The product itself is very solid. The table holder is attached to a plastic table and has not left any marks so far. Any marks could possibly be safely avoided by a piece of wood / plastic clamped between the table and the brackets.
