Can I also use the Ethernet port to supply the repeater with network via cable instead of in bridge mode? It won't have good reception itself where I want to use it....

Hello,
I understand that the unit is connected to the network via cable and adds other devices via WLAN - i.e. operation as a WLAN access point. This has been added as a function with the latest firmware! See: http://www.tp-link.de/download...
