Can I connect my xbox one x to it? And does the xbox recognise the screen?

Yes. Theoretically, yes.
But it is very possible that your Xbox cannot benefit from the advantages of this monitor. (The XBox can't handle the high Hz numbers, and you may even have to reckon with black bars.
