can i extend this Devolo Magic 2 LAN Starter Kit 1-1-2 with another Devolo WIFI unit and if so must i get a Magic 2 wifi extender or will it work with a Magic 1 wifi extender, at either 1200 or 2400 mbps?? thx.

Hello, no, MAgic2 only works with Magic2. It's hard, but that's the way it is.

I have to contradict this briefly... According to the Devolo homepage: Magic 1 WLan extension; Compatible and expandable at any time with all adapters of the devolo Magic series.
