Dear Community I have a craft room in the house next door. Would it be possible to place one of these on my balcony and hope that it reaches into the craft room of the neighbouring house? The air distance is about 80 metres. Is there perhaps a stronger outdoor repeater? Thanks a lot

Hello
This will most likely not work. You may be able to receive the signal from the long range access point, but your smartphone or tablet is not transmitting stronger and will not get back to the access point with the response.
If you want to solve this, then only via repeater or with directional W-Lan route....
Kind regards

The problem is not the distance in the first room (approx. 80 metres) but the thickness and reinforcement of the wall of the craft room. If the wall of the craft room is made of wood, then it might work. However, if the wall is made of concrete, then it is rather unlikely. In a residential building with reinforced concrete walls, in my experience it works with one concrete wall or with a concrete roof, but not with two.
