Question about Samsung LC49RG90SSRXEN
Dear Community. What do you think, is it worth getting this one or the C49RG94SSU now (given the current price)? In a month or so the new Samsung G9s will be released, could the price of the LC49RG90 or the C49RG94 change? Thank you.
I got the LC49RG90SSUXEN at Blackfriday (I hope you can still say that... :-D) for 900.-. I think it was normally around 1500. Seen like this, the LC49RG90SSUXEN is a bit cheaper than 6 months ago... ;-) I am very satisfied with this monitor. Still brings a breeeiiiiite smile to my face ;-)
I would compare it with the C49RG94SSU. Take your time and if you come to the conclusion that you don't need the extras, then save yourself the almost 300. Honestly, if you're coming from a "normal" monitor, the changeover will be awesome anyway....
I would give it a month (or 2) and wait and see. The chance that it will be cheaper is relatively high. Digitec has been screwing around with the prices a lot lately (rather upwards). There is usually something going on with "actions"... ;-)
Ah yes and don't forget! If you get this monitor, you'll also need a bigger desk! I have extended my desk top by about 30cm (it is now 105cm deep).
