Does anyone here have a setting together with a current HP Elitebook? Does charging via monitor etc. work?

Yes, HP Elitebook 850 G6 on the USB-C port in combination with a stationary PC. Everything works flawlessly, charging with 90W, screen, switching between PC and laptop (KVM switch). Charging via USB-C as well as via the other USB ports even works when the screen is off (separately adjustable).

The only small catch (but of course nothing to do with the Elitebook): The network connection on the monitor is also switched when switching between laptop and PC. There is no setting option to assign this to the notebook/USB-C, as the PC has its own network connection anyway. When switching, the laptop therefore loses the network connection. That's why I don't use the network port on the monitor, the laptop is connected to the WLAN...
