The Fairphone 5 supports Bluetooth version 5.2 including Bluetooth Low Energy (LE). However, Bluetooth LE does not automatically mean that Bluetooth LE Audio (the new audio transmission with LC3 codec and extended functions) is supported. As things stand, it has not been clearly confirmed whether Bluetooth LE Audio is actively supported on the Fairphone 5, although the Qualcomm FastConnect 6900 chip used could theoretically support BLE Audio.
