I connected my M2 via HDMI and it runs perfectly. This model also has a Displayport or, as already mentioned, USB-C.

The PA27AC model is said to have scaling problems on MacOS, which the PA279CRV does not have.

Very good monitor. Displayport and a powerful USB-C, but no Thunderbolt port. I use it as a second monitor for a MacBook Pro M1 Max 64GB and it is very good, but no EIZO.
This model also has 99% AdobeRGB (very important for a photographer) while the PA27AC has 99% sRGB (which is something else).

The PA279CRV has a UBS-C for data transfer and a power delivery of 96W. However, the speed does not seem to correspond to that of the Thunderbolt connection.

I have the screen connected to the MacStudio via USB-C and it works perfectly. It definitely doesn't have a Thunderbolt connection.
