Does the Fire TV Stick 4K have enough computing power to play 4K films from the local NAS? The Fire Stick would have to do the decoding.

I don't think that's an answer.
I have lags with 4K films from the network. Has anyone managed to get the liquid working? I think the network connection could be the problem. The Ethernet adapters you can buy are also lame, maximum 100mbit throughput, at least those I have seen.

I think so. Everything it does, even via Kodi, is quite fast. I think it has a 4x Prozi in it and is not the lame kind. The old Fire Stick feels 5x longer and can't do 4k at all.
