Does this also work for the Rode Videomic Rycote? I have the iPhone plug that is always included because the new ones don't have one can I finally use my microphone with the adapter here?

I guess I didn't read your request carefully. I don't know if it works with an adapter because it's designed for the VideoMic. Otherwise, I really recommend the other microphone, which has a Lightning connector directly.
