Question about Fairphone 5

Fairphone 5 switches itself off and has to be restarted. Several times a day, at irregular intervals. Who knows the problem or the solution? - Problem has existed since commissioning (purchase 7 weeks ago, pre-order) - Switches off if the appliance is not used for a moment - Switch-off does not occur when the appliance is in use or the charger is connected Tips from other Fairphone users : - Deactivate 5G mobile network (without success) - Remove SD card (without success) - Replace SIM card with eSIM (without success) - Replace battery (not possible, replacement battery apparently not yet available anywhere) Tip from seller : - Contact Fairphone support Tips from Fairphone Support (after 5-6 days, in English): - List with many measures worked through (without success) - I would like to avoid the last point, total reset, so that I don't have to set everything up again Before the total reset, I would insert a different battery, if available, to rule out this source of error.

Helpful answer
First of all: I have no similar problems with the device.
There is a detailed article on the topic in the Fairphone user forum: https://forum.fairphone.com/t...

The recommendations there are probably the same as the list you received from support.

Precisely because you had the problem from the start, I would exchange the device if I were you. There is a lot to suggest that you have got a mechanically faulty device. This is annoying, but in my opinion, further tinkering will only prolong the trouble.

I hope you get a new device quickly and are as happy with it as I am.

I have the same problem. I've had the device for about 3 weeks. Today it crashed 2 times, yesterday once. This is the 4th time in total. Do you have a solution now?
