Good day I need a new iPad for navigation (GPS/GNSS). I have the following pad on my radar: "iPad Air 11 2024 (M2)". The models with a built-in GPS receiver used to be called "Cellular". This made it possible to navigate in the middle of the Atlantic without mobile phone reception - e.g. with the software from Navionics (Garmin). The term "cellular" is apparently no longer used. Question: Which iPad Air models are currently still suitable for navigation?

Only models with a mobile phone network have the GPS / GNSS receiver. This model does not have a GPS / GNSS receiver.
