I received it yesterday. It doesn't work with Swisscom yet... But I will comment again if it works

As long as OP does not officially sell the device in Switzerland and cooperates with the corresponding providers, 5G will probably not run with the OP8 Pro. Since OP has never officially sold its previous devices in Switzerland, I don't hold out much hope here either. So I think it is rather unlikely that you will be able to access the 5G network with the OP8 Pro in the near future. Possibly with a workaround similar to VoLTE, but honestly, for the price I don't want to have to build the features myself.

5G does not work for me (Sunrise), even though I have the appropriate subscription and the 5G option in the network settings.
