Hello all. I have the following question: I have a switchboard in the basement but the router is on the ground floor. I have an Ethernet socket with RJ45 connections on the upper floor. If I buy this access point and install the socket on the upper floor, it should work, right? Thank you for your feedback. Greetings

In principle, this is possible. Please note: this AP gets its power via PoE+. Therefore, your cable from the basement to the first floor should be a copper cable with at least Cat 5e. In the best case, your switch can do PoE, otherwise connect the PoE injector in between. This AP needs a controller. So, if you don't have one yet, don't forget to buy a cloud key.
