Hello, I haven't read the whole text. But basically you can use any larger screen. Windows then allows you to change the magnification factor (zoom) significantly upwards. This screen here can go up to 120 Hz. This screen here with the current firmware works very well.
Hello, as the digitec experts don't have the time to answer me, I need your precious help.
I have major problems with my eyes, particularly with reading small print (neovascular oedema). I currently have a Samsung Smartphone Monitor 43 inches t 60 Hz (I rarely use the smartmonitor functions, I can do without...).
I bought this monitor before getting my Gaming PC, which is an HP Omen 45 L.
Here are the main features
64 gigs of DDR 4 at 3733 MHz, Intel Core I9 12 900 k processor. NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti graphics card (hardware info tells me NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti (GA102-225) [Hewlett-Packard] ) with 12 Gigas DDR 6x. 2 x 2 tera M2 memory sticks.
So I was wondering, if I had a bigger monitor, from 49 inches to 55 inches
I'll be able to see the small print better, knowing that the pixel density per inch will decrease.
I might be interested in Samsung Odyssey ARK
3840 x 2160 pixels, 55" Gen 1 or the LG UltraGear 48GQ900-B, which also has a foot too low...
My usage would be 50% for gaming and 50% for writing emails. Word and Excel documents.
For information currently I play mainly has diablo 4 I wait approximately 300 images per second and also has plays of races of cars. On my current monitor I'm limited to 60 Hz. But for me the game seems very fluid, like flight simulator... (well, not 300 frames per second for that one). In fact I can't compare it to anything as I only have 60 hertz.
For the record, I don't play FPS games. Like Call of Duty only games
So please tell me if changing monitor would be beneficial for me and which model would you recommend between the 2 or others?
I also need to be sure that whatever monitor I choose will work with my HP omen.

For this particular monitor I was wondering whether the extended warranty is a good idea
Because it's still a bit of an experimental monitor and I've seen in the comments that some people
have various problems. I was also wondering if the curvature is a problem
For reading characters on the sides.
I've seen lots of YouTube videos and the only problem is that they're used for gaming.
And not in office use Word Excel etc..
So please let me know if you think the upgrade will help or if it's urgent to wait 1 or 2 years.
PS: I'm sorry to ask so many questions but I'm a bit lost and I don't have the opportunity to go and see these monitors in person or only in Nyon or Gland. If anyone has one of these 2 monitors, please let me know.
Hello I haven't had any problems with the LG 48GQ so far (I've been using it for 6 months on 4K, 134 Hz, with G-Sync and HDR). With the right settings (Sharpness and Black Stabiliser), you get a sharp picture even at short distances, especially suitable for reading longer texts. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend scaling the Windows display (System > Screen > Scaling). I have a distance of approx. 60cm to the monitor and currently use a scaling of 175%, you could even double this (350%).
