Hello everyone, maybe someone can help me. The following situation - I wanted to install Internet in my craft room under my terrace (1UG). Fortunately, I have an air intake pipe on the terrace that leads directly into my craft room. So I installed a W-Lan repeater with a Lan output on the terrace. I then took the cable through the ventilation pipe into the craft room and connected it to a switch, which then passes the internet on to the laptop and printer. Everything has worked fine up to this point, now I would like to have wi-fi down there, what do I have to do to achieve this? Would this work with an access point? Or what would you do? Greetings And thanks

Yes, that works

Generally speaking, that would work.
These are "tinkering solutions" (i.e. via such repeater routes, a cable in the direction of the router would certainly make more sense) but it's also about a tinkering room.... :)

However, bear in mind that the Ubiquiti APs require a PoE switch or injector.
