Hello everyone, Who can help? Who knows the difference between a WLAN repeater and a WLAN extender? I would like a simple power plug that extends the existing WLAN signal from the router and does not create a new access point. Because I don't want to have to reconnect every time where the signal is stronger. What can this device do ? Extend and pass on the existing router signal, or pick up the existing signal and create a new access point ?

Helpful answer

It creates a new access point. The name is then the name of the router with the addition "_EXT".
