Question about Devolo Magic 1 WiFi mini Multiroom Kit

Hello everyone, I don't quite understand yet whether this product can extend an existing WLAN network (e.g. my Swisscom/Salt/UPC Wifi signal from the router) or does it create a completely new network? With the second option I would have to switch off my main wifi. Thanks for your answers

Hello David Simon92, the Devolo Kit is connected to the router and opens a second WLAN. But you don't have to switch off the first one.
You can simply select the same SSID and password, then your devices switch automatically...
