Hello, while reading the instructions available on the internet I noticed that Philips did not cover potential burn-in problems (very annoying when talking about a PC monitor). Does this mean that Digitec does not cover burn in problems during the warranty period?

Insofar as our warranty conditions are generally based on those of the manufacturers, we would tend to answer in the affirmative. What's more, in the event of a fault, the goods are usually sent to a service centre of the brand in question (or at least one approved by Philips) and it's the technicians on site who determine whether or not the fault is covered by the warranty.
