This only works if the notebook can also output a video signal via USB-C. And no, this does not work with the iiyama G-Master GB3466WQSU-B1. This screen does not have a USB-C input. So I wouldn't even unpack it and return it immediately.

Personally, I would have gone for a 4K screen with 3840x2160 pixels right away, because that would give you a higher resolution. These 34 inch screens are okay if you need high refresh rates for games, but for normal work, a 3840x2160 pixel resolution in 32 inch would be better, because these screens would be narrower than 34 inch and offer more resolution.
