I'm having trouble finding out what I need to look out for in order for the Unifi 6+ to achieve optimum range.

1. which side of the device radiates the furthest? The sides, the front or the back?

2. is it important that it is mounted on the ceiling to cover the largest possible area?

3. is there possibly an informative file on this?

The WifiMan app is also recommended. It employees with the Unify setup and can, among other things, draw a signal map using the camera on the mobile. This analyses and displays the signal strength live.

This access point is suitable for ceiling and wall mounting.
