I'd like to connect the repeater (TP-Link RE700X) to my router (Zyxel AX7501) via a 5 GHz Wi-Fi connection. Then, I want to use an Ethernet cable from the repeater to my desktop PC to ensure a stable and fast internet connection.

Is this setup possible? Specifically, can the repeater receive the internet signal over 5 GHz Wi-Fi and pass it through the Ethernet port to my PC? Or is the Ethernet port on the repeater only meant for receiving a wired signal and then rebroadcasting it wirelessly?
