Hi all, can anyone tell me if I can use the UniFi AP FlexHD with a flat cable or does it have to be a Cat 5 standard cable? Marco

A flat cable can be used without any problems. (Also for POE)

I use a normal (i.e. round, shielded) Cat.6 LAN cable from the switch in the basement to the socket in the living room (approx. 15m).
From there I use a Cat.6 flat cable (this one: https://www.galaxus.ch/de/s1/product/wirewin-netzwerkkabel-utp-kat-6-750cm-netzwerkkabel-5615148) from the wall socket to the UniFi AP FlexHD.
This works without any problems.
