Question about Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070S Windforce OC
Hi, I'm just putting together my first PC. Can anyone tell me whether they can recommend it and whether anything is missing apart from windows? I am not an expert either. Nevertheless, a few inputs:
I would go for a more powerful power supply. Only 500W could lead to instability in the system. I use a 650W supply.
I would also take a cooler for the CPU. For example, the Noctua NH-U12S SE-AM4. Although it is 3mm too high for your case, I think it should fit. Or an AIO liquid cooler like the Kraken X63.
For RAM I would go for 3200MHz like with the Corsair Vengeance LPX (2x, 8GB, DDR4-3200, DIMM 288) kit.
If you play a lot of different games, an HDD for the game library could help. But it can easily be retrofitted.
