Question about ASUS TUF VG27AQ
Hi. I've had the screen for about 6 months and have been procrastinating until now, but I often have the problem that while playing my screen just goes black sporadically and comes back on, but the screen is needed for gaming with the ps5. could someone give me some tips on how to solve this? delaying the problem or trying to ignore it is because I don't want to send the screens back and get new ones every time it causes problems again. Thanks for any help and tips.
Could be the cable or the graphics unit on the Playstation 5 I have connected a Playstation 5 and have no problems. I also have a gaming PC connected.
Could also be due to the HDR that recalibrates itself, see if you have switched on HDR in your ps5
I am on PC, but once had the problem not on my private PC but at work. We replaced the DP cables and that was that.
But to rule it out, follow negora's suggestion.
you have to try and troubleshoot this a bit:
1. change cables, does it still do that?
2. change input (use a computer or another ps5 console), does it still do that?
if the answer to 1 and 2 is yes, then perhaps you have no other option than sending them back in.
I have not had this experience with mine (2 of them on a desktop computer), but I've only had them for a few months.
