Question about ASUS ROG Strix XG17AHP
How high is the bottom edge of the screen away from the table when the stand with monitor is pulled all the way apart? Since I have a 17" laptop, this is probably not entirely unimportant for me, as the laptop screen should not be "laid back" too much in order to be able to place the additional monitor above it.

22 cm is about right. But then there's the speaker bar, so it's 25.5 cm to the bottom of the screen. I put a 13-inch laptop underneath, then I have to lower the screen each time.
I arrive at 21.2 cm. I have a 17" laptop myself, and the tripod would have to be about 7 cm higher so that you could easily set up the screen behind the laptop.
However, I have good experience with placing the tripod on an appropriately large and thick book. Since the tripod is quite stable, there is no danger to the screen.
